The locomotor system unit of IMED Valencia is going to use the most advanced techniques as arthroscopy or the new regeneration therapies and that are characterized because they are minimally invasive techniques that allows the improvement in results and as well in recovery tiem for patients. Arthroscopic surgery enables the visualization, diagnosis and treatment of intra-articular lesions, using an optic system that attached to a camera, sends the image of the inside of the joint to a display or screen for the surgeon visualization.
Regeneration therapy consists in the application of innovating treatments with biopharmaceuticals (adult stem cells, growth factors or plasma growth inductors and biomaterials) and that are specially indicated for lesions healing of the osteoarticular system or to reduce healing periods of these lesions.
The high grade of specialization allows the patient to be always in the best expert hands in each specific disease.

Along with the professional team that forms the locomotor system unit, there are some facilities focused on the efficiency and personalised attention that makes easy the intelligent flow of the patient. For that, IMED Valencia has assigned a floor of outopatients clinic exclusively for this specialty and the medical offices are settled together, nurses and remote control room for imaging diagnosis tests, which contributes to waiting time and displacement reduction.
